| | | With all designs and systems, there are invariably individual aspects that require pecial solutions. This is achieved by the use of special accessories. The fact that this list is not longer than it is demonstrates just how comprehensive and sophisticated all the systems and components actually are. But here, in any case, we have confirmation of the old saying that it is the exception that proves the rule.
| | | | » Window box |
The window box provides the connection between the hull and the accommodation system. A piece of flat steel should be laid around the window before the window box is mounted to simplify installation. Window boxes can be supplied with prefabricated cut-outs for windows. A special steel outer sliding frame is used to compensate for tolerances. The window-box body is designed to resist natural vibrations.
A large variety of surface finishes are available; all of them have a removable protective foil to prevent any damage from occurring during installation. The design of the window box and all components used have been tested and approved according to international standards.

| » Hatches for walls and ceilings | Hatches and inspection flaps are unrequested but necessary tools in ship building because you have to have access to valves, pipes and other equipment covered by walls and ceilings without destroying the design. So nearly unvisible and fully integrated hatches and inspection flaps – like the R&M ones – are the best way to solve the daily problems in ship operation.

A large variety of surface finishes are available; all of them have a removable protective foil to prevent any damage from occurring during installation. The design of the hatch for ceiling panel SD50W and all components used have been tested and approved according to international standards.

| » Hatch with hidden hinges | The hatch with hidden hinges conforms to fire classification C and impresses with its outstanding functionality. Compared to traditional hatches, this system is closed by using a push lock, i.e. the hatch can be opened and closed using an integrated pushbutton. All dimensions can be produced to meet customer requirements. In order to install the hatch system, an opening is cut into the wall or deck system and the hatch is then fixed in place mechanically. A large variety of surface finishes are available; all of them have a removable protective foil to prevent any damage from occurring during installation. All components of the hatch with hidden hinges have been tested and approved according to international standards.

The C design omega profiles can be made from steel, stainless steel or aluminum in various thicknesses. A large variety of surface finishes are available; all of which have a removable protective foil to prevent any damage from occurring during installation.
All available finishes are listed in the samples book.
